James asks…

Where can I find an online meal planner that isn’t all about weight loss?

I am looking for a healthy online meal planner which will help maintain weight…anyone know one? Failing that, a good book that can do the same?

Maricela answers:

I can’t help you right now, but I can suggest you to read few words about keeping weight and Mediterranean style of eating. Than you will know better (I hope) what kind of receipts and food you have to look for.

Carol asks…

Are weight loss pills the best option for overweight people?

I`m overweight and have tried a bunch of diets (no workout though) but I’ve had no significant results so far. I was wondering about weight loss pills..are they really a good way to lose weight? No side effects? What other weight loss solutions do you recommend? Thanks!

Maricela answers:

Weight loss pills may help you lose weight but some have side effects. It depends on the meds you take. However, if you keep an eye on how many calories you eat, and burn the same number of calories or more per day you should lose weight. I found a good diet planner at projectweightloss.com. They also have nice weight charts that show you how when you`re over or under the calorie limit you need to stick to. It’s free. They also have interesting articles about weight loss and lotsa friends who can give you advice.

Sandra asks…

What is the recommended daily fat intake for weight loss?

I am trying to lose 40 lbs for a wedding in Aug/07, but im having trouble losing on the Slimfast plan.

I always seem to be hungry all day.
HELP!

Maricela answers:

That HELP really got to me! I know how it is when you keep going back to the fridge, or reach for those snacks. But you need to stay away from them! The recommended daily fat intake has to do with how many calories you eat. When you eat more calories than your body needs, the excess turns into fat. If you eat 2000 calories per day, about 2.5 oz should be fat but the precise amount is different from one person to another. Have you tried low-calorie healthy food that makes you feel fuller? You can calculate your daily calorie intake with this calorie calculator at http://www.projectweightloss.com – it’s free. It’s like a myspace for people who are into losing weight. They also have a diet and workout planner. I use it to calculate my daily calorie intake. It calculates your required calorie consumption, and it tells you if you`re over/under the limit. Good luck!

Mark asks…

Has anyone ever done the 18pounds in 4 days weight loss plan by James Zeta?

i think this diet is worth a try.
but its $30 to download.
if anyone has tried it or done it could you tell me?
Did it work?!? and if so, would you be able to send me the diet planner, for free??
I dont want to spend $30 on something that probably wont work.
Thankyou.

Maricela answers:

Don’t spend your $30.
18 pounds in 4 days is physically impossible without being very ill.
Diet and exercise, baby – diet and exercise. It’s the only way to go.
Good luck.
