Does anyone know of any good online weight loss groups?

I am looking for some online support, or a chat room, for weight loss. Does anyone have any recommendations? It doesn’t matter what type of diet the other people are doing, I am just looking for other people to talk to while trying to lose weight.
Just to clarify, I am not looking for a diet, I am looking for people to talk to. I do Weight Watchers, I exercise and I have a very realistic outlook of how much I want to lose in a given week. The first answer I got from Lexi is really weird, so this is why I am clarifying my question.

Im starting a health/nutrition/exercise/weightloss website. What would you want to see on a site like this?

I am starting a health/diet/nutrition/weight loss/exercise/etc website, because obesity is a growing problem in America and I want to help. I am a Biology major at Boston College and understand some of the biological aspects of nutrition and gaining fat. I have some ideas of what to put on the site, but if you were going to a website like this to try and lose weight/get in shape, what would you want? What would you want information on? Weight loss plans? Nutritional label reading guide? Incentives for losing weight? More information on metabolism and fat? Consequences of eating unhealthy food? Please give me any ideas that you have, and let me know if you think this would be a successful website.

Free diet profile.Calorie listings. Being able to track your weight loss progress. Where your weigh is at as oppose to where you want it to be at. What you should weigh, not just by your height but by your build as well. Most sites are not realistic when it comes to that they assume how much people should weigh just by their height. Someone who has a large build and is 5’9 shouldn’t weigh as little as a person with a small build who is 5’9 and vis versa. It should be based on height and body build as well as muscle mass. That would be the main thing I’d like to do especially as an improvement to sites like thats.

Dexot before a weight loss or fitness plan?

An employee at GNC told me that it’s a good idea to detox before a weight loss or fitness plan. He said it cleanses the body and and you can loss weight faster. Is this true?

Does the tuna and water diet work for fast,dramatic weight loss?

If I add hardboiled eggs to get a little more calories will this effect my weight loss or am I better off just sticking to tuna and water?

I plan to stay on this diet until I drop 35 pounds. If combine the diet with two hours of cardio everyday can I meet my goal within a month and a half?

By cutting off all refined carbs (sugars and flours) you will lose, fast. Thing is, most of the weight lost is going to come from liquids, and those will come back sooner or later.

Going under the 1400 calorie a day threshold can also be risky, it can work for some time and then you will hit a plateau and not lose more.

Do this modified diet that was defined to lose fast and not make you starve, but beware of the rebound.

Breakfast 2 egg whites and 1/2 cup old style oats (measured dry) with water – no sugar. Coffee or green tea.
Midmorning a handful of nuts. Handful as in what fits in the center of your hand (palm), nor a “claw-ful”.
Lunch large lettuce salad with one can tuna (in water). Add any vegetables you want to it. Glass of fat free milk.
Mid afternoon 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 6 light soda crackers.
Dinner Vegetable soup. Any size, any vegetables. 1 glass fat free milk

Aim for at least 3-4 liters of pure water every day. Do not modify or add anything.

And do not overexercise. It’s much better to do 1 hour of cardio, to your full potential and not 2 hours. Many fitness experts suggest that our bodies aren’t programmed to perform activities at a steady continuous pace. Rather, they are designed to perform activities in short intervals. An apt example of performing an activity in a short interval is running a 100 meters race. You start the race, push your body to the limit and you stop. This helps the body to recover. If you observe sprinters and other sportsmen, you’ll notice the lack of fat.

Weight loss contest, whats the most you can lose in 2 months?

They are having a weight loss contest to see who can lose the most weight in 2 months, and the winner wins 1000 bucks. What’s the most weight someone can lose in 2 months, and besides eating smaller portions and exercising, what else can you do? This is for my husband who is 5’11 and 260lbs.

to lose weight u need to eat right and have a workout plan 5-6 days a week.u have to want it.
***try this u need to change ur diet.
Eat six times a day. Ea of ur 3 main meals needs to combine a lean protein such as chicken breast ground turkey turkey bacon egg whts also combine that with a complex carb such as a baked potato or sweet potato wild rice brown rice oatmeal or girts. Also add fresh fruit and vegies to lunch and dinner. Pick fruits low in sugar like pears and berries. If u get canned vegies get ones with low sodium. Eat every 3-4 hrs keep ur metablism moving.
***also the most important part is WATER drink at least 64oz. No soda or juice. Water will curve ur cravings.
U need to hit cardio 3-4 times a week running outside it great workout if u can hit a gym and cardio machine is great at least 30mins***
also add weight/strength training 3 times a week.u can google free weight traning guides anywhere. Its not hard to find things for free. Also for those wanting sexy hot abs. A nice toned stomach comes from a body with low body fat. So if ur overweight and u do a million crunches or any ab workout you r wasting your time!!! Cant see the muscles under fat. Low body fat equals=a nice flat toned stomach.
***plan ur meals ahead of time.always have a healthy snack with u so u wont be tempted to eat fast food. Also if u wait to late to eat u will get so hungry u will eat the world. Make time to work out start out with 30 mins then increase.its ur body treat it right. Ur diet alone can help lose weight but working out makes ur body look good. Shows muscles and tight skin which is sexy and beautful. Stick with it ur body will amaze u!!! To be healthy and look great u need both in ur life. Good luck
