Can I lose weight by just eating healthy?

I am a 13 year old girl and I hate my body! I am 5’6 and 145 pounds. This is not one of those teenage girls think their overweight when they really aren’t. I am seriously overweight, you can see it on my body and my mom and dad tell me all the time. if I start eating healthy, like no sweets, only 3 meals stuff will I loose weight? Right now I have bad eating habits so If I start eating healthy how much will I loose? Also please don’t be mean, but I don’t really like excersise. Thanks guys!

Yes, but staying active is equally important

Best is stay active, dance, use only stairs (no lift), walk to nearest shop, get good sleep and stay happy

Eat Yogurt, raw paneer, drink hot milk bedtime, drink lots of water, eat fruits and salads, drink green tea morning first thingand eat little salad before lunch and Dinner.

U shud do 15 mins jog daily, sit-ups, climbing stairs (very effective), lunges (very effective), crunches, leg raises, dance workout for flat tummy and toned legs and butt. Cycling, swimming, dance and skipping rope is also helpful

You can follow following diet and fitness tips for better results: –

A good tip is turn vegetarian, have 5 time meals rather. Eat yogurt, curd in mrng and evening.
You can have seafood also.
Breakfast of cereals, milk and egg only, with bread
lunch u can have beans on bread, dal rice, bread with baked/ boiled vegetables

have light dinner, again u can have bread and salad with gravy, pulses

avoid chicken, beef, pork, cheese, xpizzas and junk food.
Avoid rice at night

learn some recipes for healthy food. You can look for alternates like fish, crab, prawns, Soya, Mushrooms etc..
You can do activities like streching, breathing exercises, yoga, running, like standing at same place u do running motion, arobics, dance, climb stairs till 5 storeys 3-4 times a day, jogging, badminton, volleyball also keep you fit
swimming is also good exercise

You can do free exercises like push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups to stay fit

get a pair of light weight dumbells and do arm exercises

for thighs do lunges, sit-ups, stepper, multi-exercise, leg curls, leg press, jogging, climbing, climbing steps

for arms do dumbell curl, reverse dumbell curl with light weights (15-20-25 reps)

for abs do crunches, leg raises, tiwst crunches, standing twists etc.

For chest do bench press, dumbell flies, pec dec etc.

Note: I suggest light dumbells over machines. Please make sure u do light weights and more reps for weight loss.
Please don’t do exercise if you have cold or some illness.

I am boy of 19 and I seek dieting and slimming tips?

I am teenage boy of 19 and I am approx. 5.7″ (height). After passing 10th grade I started turning obese. I was approx. 65 kg in 2010 and in 2012 I turned 73. By the last Dec. ’12 I managed to lower my weight to 70 kgs. Im now in degree level and have much higher study pressure. As such Im compelled to reduce (near zero) physical activities. I seek some tips, do’s and don’t regarding slimming and growing biceps. Any anf every tip will be helpful.

You might think you do not have time for exercise because of your studies, but actually exercise releases endorphins and serotonin which stimulate your brain, meaning that working around planned exercise will be much more beneficial than working all the time with no exercise! It will also help you to sleep better so your brain will be better prepared to take in information 🙂

as a girl i don’t really know a lot about biceps but for all-over weight loss and toning i would recommend swimming as the water resistance means your muscles are working harder than they would be if you were running – and you are using a LOT more different muscles than simply running.

I used to do 70 lengths three times a week and lost quite a bit – but as a guy you might want to aim for a few more than 70!

Weight Loss suggestions for teenage girls?

Im fourteen and over weight. It’s June 28th right now and by the end of the summer (August 29th) I want to be able to wear a bikini top and not look horrible. If you wouldn’t mind giving me exercise tips, eating tips or anything else that will make me lose my stomach fat quickly. Im going to be very passionate about this so im going to work my hardest so please give me things that will make me lose all of it. thank you(: and no hate please.

Drink lots and lots and lots of water, it fills up your stomach so you don’t eat as much at meals. Eat healthy. Salad, yogurt, granola, ect.. If you do 200 crunches a day for 4 weeks while eating healthy your stomach will tone up very quickly and nicely. Good luck.

How can a teenage girl loose weight? ideas please!?

Im a 14 year old girl. I weigh 140.5 pounds. I have a military ball at my school and i want to loose some weight. This is my motivation. I get called fat alot at school, and im sick of it. I’d like to loose 10-15 pounds by the military ball, whichvis April 6. Nobody wants to go with me, cause they say Im fat, and im starting to believe them. I think if i had some easy ways to loose weight i could. I dont wanna be the fat girl anymore.

For rapid weight loss, i recommend focusing on fruits, veggies, egg whites, soy products, skinless poultry breasts, fish, shellfish, nonfat dairy foods, and 95% lean meat. All of those foods are high in nutrive values, and not so high on calories, the opposite from McDonald foods =) They will make you feel full, while still not eating much calories.

Some additionnal tips:
-Eat vegetables to help you feel full.
-Drink plenty of water.
-Get tempting foods out of your home.
-Stay busy — you don’t want to eat just because you’re bored.
-Eat only from a plate, while seated at a table. No grazing in front of the ‘fridge.
-Don’t skip meals.

In addition to this, every time you burn 3500 calories, you loose 1 pounds, so do as much exercice as you can. Try to do things you enjoy to make sure you do it a lot.

Teen Girls : How to get a flat stomach ? ANSWERS PLEASE ?

I am a teenage girl how can iGet rid of my chubby stomach and how do iGet rid of big thighs and big butt ? Im 14 , weigh 113 pounds and 5 feet 1 inch .

Running, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, squats, brisk walking and power walking all help for weight loss but dieting helps more.

Stubborn belly fat is very hard to lose, even for very thin people.

You need to reduce or stop your intake of fattening junk sugar as in sweets, desserts, cakes, cookies, biscuits, white rice and white bread. Throwing away the sugar bowl would probably help even more. The natural sugars in fruit are not fattening.

Beer, wine and spirits are also fattening as they contain a lot of junk sugar calories.
