Which exercise is best for weight loss and how often should i do it?

Im 210 pound at turning 13. I need to lose Weight! What exercise is better for weight loss? Aerobics or cardio work out? How many minutes should I do this exercise and how many days a week? I know what cardio and aerobics are and I know what exercises I can do at home. so please tell me which is better for succeeding my goal of weight loss.

Squats. They burn a lot of calories. Also, actually walking is better for losing weight. Walking and running burn carbs and fat, but walking burns more fat than carbs. Walking requires less oxygen, which in turn pulls energy from your stored fat cells. This in turn shrinks them, causing you to lose weight. Running requires more oxygen which is going to pull energy from stored carbs (glycogen).

Do squats and lunges 3 days a week and then walk between 3.5 and 4.5 mph for about 20 – 30 minutes afterwards. You can also do some upper body exercises. Walk for 30 mins to an hour the other days that you are not lifting and doing squats.

FYI: It may be hard to believe, but walking 3 miles and running 3 miles burns the same amount of calories. You just finish quicker running. So, walking and running the same distance burns the same amount of calories.

Please trust me when I say you don’t need a weight loss product to lose weight. Nobody does.

Every weight loss product company says to diet and exercise while taking their product. Why, because that is how you lose weight, through diet and exercise.

That is how they get you. They make you believe that it is their product that caused the weight loss when in fact it was actually your hard work. What happens when you don’t diet and exercise while taking their product and see no weight loss results.

They say to you, “Well, we do recommend diet and exercise as well”. It’s a win win situation for them.

Each pill has there own set of side effects and hidden dangers and all have the potential to cause harm. Why would you take the risk when you can lose weight by simply eating well and exercising.

There is no magic secret to weight loss. It is all about hard work, commitment, goal setting and desire. If you want to lose weight you can and you will.

The original oats. Not the packed ones. But ya I had half a cup and I was full from 6- now. Only 150 cals for dinner . Is this good for weight loss?

What exercises are good for weight loss? *Besides running/jogging.?

Winters coming and I really cant go outside and exercise to much. I know I have to eat the right food and yeah, but what are some other good exercises for weight loss, besides running/jogging? (I dont own a treadmill, and I just straight out hate running.) Any other ideas? (:

If you can find an indoor pool somewhere swimming is really good and it’s not too rough on the joints either.

I disagree with most of the people answering so far. Research has shown that exercise has little effect on weight, and actually makes people eat more. A lot of advice you get about dieting is just passed on from one person to another without anyone really questioning the “common knowledge.”

The clues to getting to a healthy weight are to control your portion sizes and make sure each meal contains foods that are full of nutrition – with none of the foods like sugar and white bread and salty snacks that can make you crave more empty calories.

The best weight loss foods, believe it or not, are fatty fish, beef, lamb, coconut oil, and milk. Studies going back almost a century confirm it. Going on a low-fat diet will cause more problems than it solves, and you won’t be getting the essential fats (omega 3, CLS, etc.) that your body needs to regulate your weight.
