Your Questions About Better Weight Loss Walking Running

David asks…

If i run 45 minutes everyday, when will i start seeing a difference in my weight?

I’m 20, female, 5 feet and i weigh 127. I would like my weight to be 110 or so. I am going to have a good healthy diet and run for 45 min 6 days a week using the sprint method (sprinting for 1min and walking for 2min). How long will it take for me to see a significant amount of weight loss? And is it possible to reach my goal in 6months or less? Thank you 🙂

Maricela answers:

Oh yeah definitely girl! If you stick to cardio at least 35 minutes a day but don’t exceed forty five because then u start burning muscle you will look amazing in 3 or less just stick to that diet and I recommend green tea like the one that comes in the bag all natural u can add honey and you may like it maybe not its I think an acquired taste but I love it and its done wonders for me. I suggest rating lean meats such as fish chicken and lean beef like steak and such make sure though no fried food and plenty of veggies oh and mix up the sprinting with some long distance trust me it’ll work and you might even try having something small like grandma bars every 2-3 hours like I would wake up at 5 work out have breakfast by 7 go about my day have a granola bar at about at 9 or 10 and then continue with my day have lunch at 12 or 1 continue the day another grandma bar at 3 or 4 hit the gym before dinner after that I would have dinner at at 6 and then at around 8 just have like an Apple and some water then go to bed between 10 and 11 the 8 o clock snack isn’t really necessary but I would be starving already lol so that’s personal preference but by you eating like that you will increase your metabolism and it will cause your body to turn into a fat burning machine! Oh and the green tea is good for metabolism but other health reasons as well! But yes mam I do believe you will see amazing results way before six months when I got home after doing that for 3 months only my friends and family would always say I look like one of the Spartan from 300 lol plus you feel way good being able to show off that body and just physically good! Best of luck to you just don’t quit and it will work remember the harder you work the better you’ll look it comes with a price! The question is are you willing to pay it?

John asks…

What is a reasonable weight loss goal for the next month?

I weigh…a lot lol. I have been cutting back on eating and I have started to go on brisk walks every other day.

What would be a reasonable weight loss goal for a little over a month?
10lbs? 5lbs?

What should I do to loose weight even faster?

Maricela answers:

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

Lisa asks…

how much of daily fat intake is needed for weight loss?

I’m running and walking on the treadmill daily for weight loss.

I’m trying to determine how much of chicken breast is good for me. so, one of them seems to have about 4.5g fat.

how much is the healthiest fat intake?

Maricela answers:

Try to eat the healthy fats, olive oil, avocado, and stay away from the saturated fats.

Chicken Breast is very healthy for you, just remove the skin

You can prepare it many ways, you can even prepare Oven Fried Chicken, I have heard it is really good, I personally never tried it because I don’t eat meat.

Robert asks…

Will it affect my weight loss if i stop during my run?

I have been running for about a week now, and I show no progress although I sweat a bunch and get really tired. During my run, I get too tired to keep running and I stop. If I run, then stop for about 2 minutes, then run again, will it affect my weight loss?

Maricela answers:

In short, no, it won’t affect your weight loss. I would suggest keeping an exercise log and record how long you run each time. Make a goal to improve each run, even if it is by a small amount. If you ran for 2 minutes last time, try to run for 2:30 next time.

Here’s some things that help me run better:
Hydration: Make sure you are well hydrated before you run.
Food: An hour or so before you run, eat complex carbohydrates to give you energy.

A good workout is intervals. For example, run for 30 seconds, then walk for 30 seconds, run for 30, walk for 30, etc. This will help increase your fitness and endurance. Keep persevering and try to improve a little each week. It may take several weeks before you get to the level you want to be at.

Susan asks…

what will i have to do to loss weight after 3months of running and walking but no results yet?

i need to loss at least 10lbs. i’m 37yrs, 5ft. 130lbs i have been contanstly exercising ( running, race walking ) everyday for 3 months now. i have also lessen my portions in my meals and cut off rice. I have fruits for lunch. i’m taking l-carnitine ( 500mg ) and green tea tablets to help my weight loss but i still haven;t lost any weight. my tummy is still bulky. i haven’t seen any difference.pls help me, i’m desperate. i only want to feel good even if i do not loss the entire goal, at least this time i should have at least seen or felt a slight changes in my efforts of exercising and healthy eating.

Maricela answers:

1) See your doctor. You sound like you may have an eating disorder. You’re fixated on a number and a “bulky tummy” and you say you’re “desperate.”

2) Muscle weighs more than fat. When you consult with your doctor and lose weight in a healthy manner you don’t use a scale. They measure your body fat. Body fat is all that really matters.

3) You lost that 10 pounds a long time ago and don’t realize it. It was replaced by what is known as lean muscle.
