Should I start with P90X or Insanity?

Hey everyone my ame is Ryan. I’m currently 250 lbs 5’10” and 19 years old. I’m starting a weight loss plan which includes eating much healthier and i also joined a Muay Thai kickboxing class. I was wondering if anyone could help me regarding to whether i should start with P90X or Insanity and maybe give me some motivation tips and success stories =) thanks alot everyone i appreciate it!

I personally really like P90X, I have gone from 220 down to 165 with P90X and of course a much better diet. I got P90X & info on supplements & diet information here
Also if you like a challenge P90X is a great way to go, it is not easy by any means, but it becomes
easier as you get in better shape.

What’s the best way to transform my body?

I’m quite fat at the moment but I have a well built body and I lose weight fast. I want to turn myself into having an excellent body and will do whatever it takes to get there. I’m already dieting and drinking water and I’ve lost 7lbs in the past two weeks.

What’s the best exercises to take on? Cardio first to speed up the weight loss and then weights or both together? What about jogging?

I’m new to all this and any help is welcome.

I personally don’t like jogging/running because it’s too hard on the body and not really an efficient way to burn calories. You know what really burns calories? High intensity training that taxes the muscles. This is why P90X and Insanity are so effective. When you combine cardio and weights the way they do, your body continues to burn calories at a higher rate for two days.

You said you’re willing to what it takes to get there, but high intensity training is more difficult than you can even imagine so you will be tested. But the good side is that you don’t have to do more than 40 – 50 minutes a day. I used to spend 3 hours in the gym every day when I wanted to lose weight.

does zumba work?? would it be better if i did p90x and zumba or p90x and insanity?

so im getting p90x but have the chance to get insanity or zumba. im not sure which one would be better for weight loss. any opinions on either?/

I am 123 lbs and I want to loose weight around my thighs and waist and also to gain some abs and tone up.
Should I do Insanity or P90X?

P.s I do cardio 3-4 times a week.

They both are good at both but have their own advantages. Insanity tends to provide faster fat loss than P90X classic. However, the strength P90X has includes a lighter atmosphere and you have more flexibility in the exercises you do, different calenders for different results, and you can get even better results and lose just as much fat if you use the doubles workout calender instead of classic or lean.

I personally believe P90X is better than Insanity because it’s flexibility to meet every body’s goals even if it is as different as building muscle vs. Losing fat.

How can i get a flat stomach in 5 days ?

What exercises should i do specifically & what foods should i eat ?

You can’t. It takes more than 5 days. Unless you got surgery/ liposuction. If you are fat it may take a year or 2. If you have a minor stomach a few months. If you want abs and are somewhat flat is may take a few weeks to a few months.

Also p90x, insanity and all other advertised programs on television suck. I do REAL Kenpo and have done it for many many years (part of P90x the only difference is I can and have seriously beat people up with it, even well trained martial artists) and I lift/ made my own exercise program with help from an ex body builder. My results in 2 months blew away insanity and p90x. I got abs, lift over 50lbs more on my exercises and my squat went up 70 lbs etc. Make a good program yourself do not use those TV scam programs that are over priced.
